Q: Are there any changes to my room?

A: Government and WHO guidelines for cleaning and sanitising guest rooms will be adhered to using hospital grade products.  Bottle water will continue to be available in the room. 

Rooms will only be cleaned on request.  We will provide clean towels, sheets, toiletries on request.  This is to safe guard our team and guests.  Each guest will receive amenities in their room which will contain hand sanitiser and a welcome letter, containing key safety information and an outline of the facilities available including what Covid-19 protocols are in place.

Q: What additional cleaning protocols are being introduced?

A: Industry leading cleaning and sanitising protocols are used to clean guest facilities, with particular attention paid to high-touch items including television remote controls, toilet seats and handles, door and furniture handles, taps, nightstands, telephones, in-room control panels, light switches, temperature control panels and luggage racks.

Q: Are there any changes to check in or check out?

A: Check in time is from 4pm and check out is 12 noon.  Guests should adhere to the physical distancing in place in the lobby whilst checking in and out.  Appropriate signage will be on display.  One person at each time permitted at check-in desk. 

Our reception desk counters have sneeze guard’s screens in place for your safety.   If luggage service is required, guests will be required to leave the bag on the floor.  Our porter will sanitise the luggage handle and then proceed to bring the luggage to the room.  Before handover or placement of the bag in the room, our porter will sanitise the handle again. 

Elevator signage will advise that only two guests may travel per elevator.

Q: Do I need to wear a mask?

A: Appropriate PPE will be worn by all employees and in adherence to any government or local regulations and guidance.  In line with the latest guidelines we would request that a face covering is worn in all public areas of The Resort including:

·        Reception, lobby and public corridors.

·        While arriving to and departing from our food and beverage outlets, and during trips to the bathroom facilities.


Q: Does the hotel have a car park?

A: Yes, we have complimentary parking.  In line with social distancing guidelines our shuttle service from the car park to the hotel will only be able to accommodate up to 3 people at a time and face coverings must be worn.  However, our parking facilities are only a leisurely stroll from the hotel.

Q: Is there parking for Buses & Oversized Vehicles?

A: Yes via Gate C our alternative entrance (not through main entrance)

Q: What is the hotel’s credit card policy?

A: A credit card is required upon booking to secure your reservation, our cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid a charge of 1 night.  Upon check-in your credit card will be authorised for the cost of your stay along with €50 per night for incidental charges.  Debit cards will be charged upon check-in or alternatively be paid by cash.

Q: Can I arrange for amenities or gifts to be placed in the room?

A: Yes we do, please contact us directly to organise 

Q: Do you have family rooms? Are cots for children available?

A: We don’t have family rooms but we can accommodate 1 child under 12 in a room with a cot or a rollaway bed, alternatively we can offer interconnecting rooms which will accommodate 2 adults in one room and 3 children in the other room.  Please note that our Health Spa & Pool facilities are suitable for 16’s and over.

Q: Do you have wheelchair accessible rooms?

Q: Do you provide coffee makers in your guestrooms?

A: We have tea/coffee making facilities in all of our bedrooms

Q: Do you provide irons and ironing boards for use during my stay?

A: Yes

In line with government guidelines our restaurant and bar layouts have been altered to accommodate the social distancing required, creating a safe environment for our guests and team members.  Breakfast and dinner reservations must be made prior to arrival to avoid disappointment.

Q: What time is breakfast served?

A: Monday to Sunday 8:00am – 11.00am                                                                                                                                                                                    It is essential that breakfast reservations are booked prior to your arrival to the hotel, as this will allow us to manage the number of guests within anyone area ensuring social distancing guidelines are being followed. 

Q: Will buffet breakfast still be served?

A: Breakfast is buffet style with orders taken for Tea/Coffee/ Juice and Toast.

Opening Hours: Monday - Sunday 6.00pm - 9:30pm                                                                                                                                                                  It is essential that dinner reservations are booked prior to your arrival to the hotel, as this will allow us to manage the number of guests within anyone area ensuring social distancing guidelines are being followed.

A: Yes

Q: Can food be ordered from the Resort Houses?

A: Our Farnham at Home Takeaway Menu is available.  Orders must be placed via Reception by 4.30pm and orders can be collected at Reception at 6.00pm.


Government and WHO guidelines for the cleaning and sanitising of our Health Spa will be strictly adhered to using hospital grade products and a constant cleaning schedule will be carried out in all areas of the spa. 

New social distancing guidelines within the Health Spa will limit the amount of guests using the facilities at any one time.

Social distancing measures have also dictated that we monitor the overall volume of guests in our Health Spa at any one time, therefore on occasion you may be asked to use the facilities at a later stage during your stay or your usage time may be limited.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT TO PRE-BOOK THE POOL AND WATER MINT THERMAL SUITE.

Q. What fitness facilities do you have at the hotel?

A: Indoor/Outdoor Hydrotherapy Pool, Water Mint Thermal Suite, Gym, Relaxation Rooms and 11km's of walking trails.

Q. Are spa treatments available?

A: Spa treatments are available and our treatment selection has been chosen to allow our team to continue to provide you with a relaxing experience in a safe environment.  We would recommend that you book spa treatments in advance of arrival. 

Q: Do you have a swimming pool?

A: Yes (suitable for over 16 years)


We look forward to welcoming visitors, members and guest to play on our fantastic 18 hole Championship Course.  We will be strictly following all Government, GUI and ILGU guidelines.

Q: Will the Clubhouse be open?

A: Yes the Clubhouse is open to visitors, members and guests.  Takeaway coffee and sweet treats area available from 12 noon to 5.00pm daily and is really enjoyed after a walk in our ancient woodlands.
