I don’t know where to start with this review. We had our wedding reception at the Farnham Estate on the 14th of December 2024 and all I can say is that it was absolutely magical. It exceeded our high expectations. We couldn’t have wished for a better day.

Throughout the planning of the wedding Danielle and Shauna couldn’t do enough for us. They were always there to support us and offer guidance. Nothing was ever too big of an ask. Danielle ensured everything was done exactly how we wanted right down to the finer details. Danielle replied to every email so promptly, even at 10pm on a Sunday night.

On the day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly. This was a result of the staff being well organised, hardworking, prompt, and very polite. Everyone excelled at their role. The dinner service was excellent. The food was amazing and plentiful. Several of our guests have said, ‘it was the best Turkey & Ham dinner they ever had’. We had a good few guests with dietary requirements and every one of them said they were never at another venue that catered for their requirements so well. One person who stands out during dinner service is Doville. She ensured everything ran accordingly and she went above and beyond for us and our guests. She was really friendly and kept checking in with everyone to ensure everything was ok. Another person we cannot thank enough is Rachel. There wasn’t anything she wasn’t involved in. She oversaw everything on the day of the wedding. She also checked in with all of our vendors to ensure they had everything they needed. Rachel also got the crowd going announcing us into the ballroom and by the end of the night everyone knew her name as she made it her business to interact with the guests and ensure everyone’s needs were met.

All of our guests were blown away by how amazing Farnham Estate is, it’s such a luxurious wow venue. We cannot thank all the staff in the Farnham Estate for all their hard work and for making our wedding truly unforgettable. We would highly recommend the Farnham Estate for the wedding of your dreams.

We had our wedding and day 2 celebrations at Farmham Estate in October 2024 and it was absolutely fantastic. The whole team from start to finish were so incredibly easy to deal with and made us feel so special the whole way through.

To name a few fantastic people we dealt with – Danielle & Margaret our event coordinators were very responsive and gave us great advice at the planning stage.

Rachel, the F&B manager played an absolute blinder on the day and was so helpful and friendly. And also Fabian and all the other brilliant staff we had at the wedding and day 2 (special mention to Sean for looking after us so well at the golf clubhouse on the Sunday).

We honestly could not have asked for more. We got so many compliments on the food, service, and layout of the venue from our guests. What’s more is everyone said we were the most chilled out B&G -this was definitely down to how well and how smoothly everything ran for the whole weekend.

Thank you to everyone at Farmham from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding the most enjoyable experience ever !

We truly had the best day of our lives and can’t stop looking back at the photos, reminiscing about every moment. If only we could go back and do it all over again!

Shauna, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely outstanding, especially since I planned the wedding from Australia, where I live. Any questions we had were answered quickly and efficiently, making the process seamless. The rest of the team involved in our day was equally amazing—nothing was ever too much trouble.

Everything ran so smoothly, and I honestly cannot fault a single thing. The food was absolutely incredible, and even now, our guests can’t stop talking about it. Many of them said it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever attended! We had guests travel from all over the world, including Australia and Germany, and they were all blown away by the entire experience at Farnham.

Our day was nothing short of magical, and we only wish we could relive it all over again. Thank you so much, Farnham, for making it truly unforgettable!

We had our wedding reception in Farnham Estate in October. This was the first venue we viewed back in July 23 and we both fell in love with the hotel and surrounding grounds straight away and no where else compared to it after that.

Such a classy decor, friendly staff and just a relaxing and welcoming ambience in general.

Our point of contact throughout the whole planning stage was Danielle. She is a true professional, so experienced, a great sound board and offered us lots of advice.

Danielle was so helpful and so informative, answered all of our concerns, queries, questions with no hesitation, so we put our trust in her and she did not disappoint. The day and night itself was just the best. Everything was as we had planned, food, drinks, service, staff, five stars. All of our guests were so impressed with the venue and it’s facilities. I would highly recommend this hotel as a wedding venue.

Incredible from start to finish, through the process of planning and the weekend of our wedding, everybody attending our wedding made a point of complementing the venue, service & quality of food! So excited to be back to celebrate our anniversary over the years! Thanks again to all the team!

I don’t even know where to start with this review as I was blown away by the whole weekend. Myself and Darren are so happy we choose Farnham for our wedding, if I could give this hotel 6 stars I would.

We had the most magical day and weekend at Farnham Estate. There is so many people to thank but here are some we wanted to mention
Firstly Margaret and Shauna the wedding co-ordinators. Thank you for all the help and guidance over our 2 years planning. We dealt mostly with Shauna and she was outstanding. She really made us feel so special, no query or question was ever any trouble and her and the team really made sure everything on the day was perfect. Thank you so much

Rachel and Fabien are just amazing at their jobs. We felt like a million dollars on the day and day 2 with the efforts and attention to detail they went to, constantly looking after us and making sure every little detail was taken care of. Superstars
All the bar staff were excellent at their job and so so lovely to deal with, especially want to thank Patrick, Killian, Canion, Gabija, Ed and Ronan in the bar both for wedding and the day after.

Even the breakfast staff Doville, Laura and Mary were so pleasant and accommodating putting us sitting together and ensuring we had a lovely breakfast experience over the few days, excellent at their jobs.

Thank you to all the accommodation staff and reception staff. Rooms were so beautiful and our guests cant wait to come back again. The reception staff always with a smile on their face.
And finally GM Michael Weston who even with his demanding job took the time to come and personally congratulate us on our special day, and what a team of staff you have.

The food all weekend was out of this world so beautiful and guests are still talking about how tasty it was so thank you to the head chef all in the kitchen. We had our day 2 in the Clubhouse and it was also a dream. Food was amazing and we again were treated so well and everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

I wish we could do it all again it was everything we dreamt of and more and that really is down to the amazing staff at Farnham Estate. Cannot wait to come back for an overnight visit and would highly recommend Farnham Estate for your wedding venue.

My husband and I met Danielle in Farnham back in February 2023 and immediately fell in love with the venue and knew it was the one for us. Danielle looked after us from day 1 and couldn’t do enough for us and I really have to say Danielle, Rachel and all the team in Farnham went above and beyond to make sure our day went smoothly. We had our special day on 5th September 2024 and were lucky with the weather to get married outside in Farnham which went down very well with all the guests. The food was exceptional and the ballroom etc set up was fabulous. The rooms in Farnham are all very nice and luxurious and all the guests were blown away by the venue. I highly recommend Farnham as a wedding venue, I didn’t have any issues with anything and Danielle was always so quick to respond to any queries I had which made the whole wedding planning so much easier. I am so happy we had our special day here and will cherish those memories forever. Highly highly recommend the wedding team in Farnham. They give 110% on everything they do.

We booked Farnham Estate for our wedding a little over 2 years in advance after reviewing some of the other hotels local to us. From start to finish the wedding team; Danielle, Shauna and Margaret were all brilliant. They offered help and advice any time we needed it (including supplier recommendations) and nothing was ever a problem for them.
Our wedding day really was the best day of our lives. Farnham Estate was the perfect venue for us. There are plenty of beautiful photo opportunities, the food was fantastic and the staff on the day as well as the following day were all so friendly and helpful. We have had so many comments both on the day and since from guests saying it was the best wedding they have been to. We are so thankful to the Farnham Estate for everything.

We would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff of Farnham Estate, in particular Shauna and Rachel for their amazing work and planning to make our wedding weekend so special. The venue was so perfect and we couldn’t have pictured our wedding anywhere else. All of our guests were so complimentary about the hotel, food, accommodation and the Spa facilities.

We recently had our wedding day at the Farnham Estate Cavan. It was beyond our wildest dreams. Danielle was our wedding coordinator from the day we booked. She is exceptional at her job, her attention to detail is second to none. Our wedding day surpassed every expectation. The food, the service, the decor every little item that we had mentioned was there in its exact place. Our guests are still raving about the food and venue. We particularly loved being able to have our photos taken on the grounds of the Farnham as it is such a stunning setting. Danielle had the amazing idea of our first dance being outside in the pergola. It was like something from the movies it will forever be an extremely special part of our day. If you are considering having your Wedding in the Farnham Estate, or even going for a night away. Do it, it’s the most amazing experience from start to finish.

Just coming back down to earth now .. what can I say, thank you soooo much, thank you will never cut it but we are so grateful for everything you done in helping to plan our wedding. We had the best day of our lives, everyone at the Farnham was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have asked for better service. My Wife and I got married there in July 2024 and our Wedding Day went perfect. The location is fantastic and the staff were so pleasant and professional. Nothing was too much of an ask of Danielle and Rachel who ensured our Wedding Day went to plan!

We are so glad we had our wedding at Farnham Estate. Everything was exactly as we wanted and all staff were so helpful through all stages of our wedding planning and wedding day! We loved our bridal suite and many of our guests loved the options for staying, with some staying in rooms and some staying in the resort houses. We had a perfect experience in Farnham this summer. We had the wedding ceremony in Farnham, followed by the reception and BBQ the following day. The support from the team at Farnham, and their responsiveness to our queries in the lead up to the big day always made us feel like we were in good hands. The entire team were so helpful, and friendly from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left. Everything ran smoothly, and the team were amazing at helping with any last-minute things we needed on the day. After, many of our guests remarked that it was one of the best-run weddings they’d been to!
