Guided Nature Walks
Dear Guest,
My name is George Beirne and I conduct the guided walks through the ancient woodlands of the estate.
Prior to taking up my position in the hotel I worked as Forest Manager for Forest & Wild Life Services, and with Coillte Teo from 1989 onwards.
Our walks are all located on the estate and they start and finish at the front door of the hotel. Once you set off, the world seems to slow down and your surroundings are full of solitude and tranquility.
I very much look forward to welcoming you on our guided forest walks during your stay with us and to showing you the flora and fauna in our unique woodlands.
